Auto Tech PR – In auto tech PR news, The Confused.com London Motor Show is delighted to announce that OVO Energy is sponsoring this year’s event as the energy supplier for electric vehicle drivers.

The 2018 show is set to be bigger and better than ever, with more cars going on display at its new ExCeL Exhibition Centre home. A large portion of the cars will be electric, showcasing the very latest technology available to the industry.

OVO wants to remove barriers to electric vehicle adoption by providing innovative and simple energy technology and solutions – making them the perfect fit to sponsor electric vehicle drivers at the show.

With that in mind, OVO launched its EV Everywhere bundle, which gives EV drivers free membership of the UK’s largest charging network, POLAR Plus, as well as free 100% green energy add-on. Staff from OVO will be on hand at The Confused.com London Motor Show to talk visitors through exactly how they could reap the benefits of this service.

Plus, OVO will be displaying its latest products to guests from 17-20 May, all aimed at electric car drivers to make their EV experience easier. The company’s aim is to ‘power the electric vehicle revolution’ through energy supply and to develop new technologies that make it easier and cheaper to buy an EV.

Alec Mumford, Chairman of The Confused.com London Motor Show, said: “We are thrilled to have OVO Energy on board as sponsor for this year’s event. They really are flying the flag for EVs and doing their all to make owners’ lives easier as the transition into our electric driving future picks up pace.”

Tom Pakenham, Director of Electric Vehicles at OVO, added: “We are excited to be the energy sponsor at the London Motor Show this year. With the momentum for electric vehicles growing across the UK, we are thrilled to show the latest technology products from OVO as part of the experience.”
