Jahrestages der kultigen Morgan Plus 8<\/a>, Morgan Motor Gesellschaft<\/a> wird Gastgeber f\u00fcr die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Versammlung von Morgan-Fahrzeugen im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich auf der j\u00e4hrlichen Nervenkitzel auf dem H\u00fcgel<\/a> Veranstaltung, am 11. und 12. August.<\/p>\n

\"Die<\/p>\n

Morgan-Besitzer und -Fans werden an den beiden Tagen zusammenkommen, um eine Reihe von Unterhaltungsangeboten zu genie\u00dfen, darunter auch eine Flugvorf\u00fchrung. Anl\u00e4sslich des 50-j\u00e4hrigen Bestehens des Morgan Plus 8 wird es eine beeindruckende Auswahl dieses legend\u00e4ren Modells geben. Morgan hat die Hilfe seiner Besitzer in Anspruch genommen, um eine handverlesene Auswahl von 50 Plus 8s zusammenzustellen. Diese repr\u00e4sentieren alle Epochen der Produktion. In der Aufstellung enthalten sind;<\/p>\n

'<\/strong>MMC 11'<\/strong>\u00a0- Das werkseigene Auto von 1968, das den aktuellen 50th<\/sup>\u00a0Jubil\u00e4umsausgabe<\/p>\n

OUY 200E\". <\/strong>- Der erste Prototyp des Plus 8 von 1968, der derzeit in San Francisco beim Morgan-H\u00e4ndler Bill Fink steht. Dieser Wagen kommt extra f\u00fcr die Veranstaltung aus den USA.<\/p>\n

AB 16\".\u00a0<\/strong>- Der urspr\u00fcngliche Plus 8, fr\u00fcher im Besitz von Peter Morgan<\/p>\n

'J 9546'\u00a0<\/strong>- Das letzte jemals hergestellte Original Plus 8, im Besitz von Keith Ahlers<\/p>\n

Plus 8 50th<\/sup>'\u00a0<\/strong>- Der erste der neuen Plus 8 50th<\/sup>\u00a0Sondereditionen gebaut werden. Es ist derzeit ein werkseigenes Fahrzeug<\/p>\n

Morgan-Fabrik<\/h5>\n

Die Feierlichkeiten beginnen am Samstag in der Fabrik in Malvern mit Live-Musik von der authentischsten Soul-Band Gro\u00dfbritanniens, Seelenverkehr<\/a>die die gr\u00f6\u00dften und besten Soul-Nummern aus den 60er Jahren spielen werden. Die Rockabellas<\/a> wird eine Mischung aus swingenden Big-Band-Hits aus vergangenen Zeiten und ma\u00dfgeschneiderten Arrangements moderner Popsongs servieren.<\/p>\n

Das Unterhaltungsangebot geht \u00fcber das Fahren mit dem Morgan hinaus. Verw\u00f6hnende Sch\u00f6nheitsbehandlungen, ein klassischer Barbierservice, der M\u00e4nnerpflege anbietet, und traditionelle Fahrgesch\u00e4fte f\u00fcr alle. Es gibt k\u00f6stliche handwerkliche Speisen, die M\u00f6glichkeit, einige spezielle Kunsthandwerke zu erwerben und sogar die Gelegenheit, bei einer F\u00fchrung durch die Morgan-Fabrik die Handwerkskunst aus erster Hand zu erleben. Ein gro\u00dfes Feuerwerk wird den ersten Tag mit einem Knall beenden.<\/p>\n

Neben all den anderen aufregenden Dingen, die die Morgan Motor Company an den beiden Tagen zu bieten hat, werden sich die Fans freuen, bei der offiziellen Enth\u00fcllung von gleich zwei neuen Artikeln dabei zu sein, die bald erh\u00e4ltlich sein werden.<\/p>\n

Prescott Hill Climb<\/h5>\n

Am Sonntag geht es weiter mit der Aktion bei Prescott Hill Climb<\/a> wo die Besucher einen Tag lang Motorsport erleben k\u00f6nnen, wenn Hunderte von Morgans auf dem ber\u00fchmten H\u00fcgel fahren. Die Besucher haben die M\u00f6glichkeit, in ihrem eigenen Morgan \u00fcber den Parcours zu d\u00fcsen oder sich auf den Beifahrersitz eines Werkswagens zu setzen und an vorbuchbaren Zeitrennen teilzunehmen. Die Parade zur Mittagszeit ist ein sehenswertes Highlight der Veranstaltung. Ein ganzes Geschwader von Morgan-Maschinen wird auf der Rennstrecke vorgef\u00fchrt, bevor Richard Goodwin in seinem Pitts S2S Muscle-Bike-Flugzeug Kunstst\u00fccke vorf\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n

Nach der Begeisterung und dem Erfolg des ersten Pickersleigh 3-Laufs im letzten Jahr ist Morgan stolz darauf, ihn erneut zu veranstalten. Am Sonntag, den 12. August, wird die Fahrt der 3 Wheelers vom Werk in Malvern aus starten. Von dort aus geht es weiter zum Prescott Hill Climb, wo die Zuschauer auf das Rennen warten. Der Pickersleigh 3 steht jedem offen, der einen Morgan 3 Wheelers besitzt. Au\u00dferdem kann jeder teilnehmen, der eine g\u00fcltige Sonntagskarte f\u00fcr Thrill on the Hill besitzt.<\/p>\n
