(London – October 21st)
Hexagon Modern Classics is looking forward to a night to remember this Thursday October 22nd when it plays host to Total 911 Magazine’s first-ever 2015 Awards ceremony.
Taking place at Hexagon Modern Classics’ headquarters at 90 Fortis Green Road in north London, the event will reward excellence in the Porsche industry, feature a famous racing driver and a collection of incredible Porsche cars, many of which come from Hexagon Modern Classics’ own, expertly-prepared stock.
The invitation-only event will feature ten prestigious awards categories. A public vote has already created a shortlist of five nominees, with the winner of each category selected by a specialist panel of judges.
As well as the awards ceremony itself, the evening will feature a special guest: 2015 Le Mans winner (and Total 911 columnist) Nick Tandy, who will take part in a Q+A hosted by broadcaster Henry Hope-Frost.
An exceptional array of Porsche exotica will also be on display including some stellar subjects from Hexagon Modern Classics’ own current collection including a 993 RS ‘Clubsport’, 9M 993 Speedster, a 997 GT3 RS, a 997 GTS, a 993 Turbo S and a 928 GTS. Porsche GB will be bringing a 991 GT3 RS, 991 GT3 and a 901 Cabriolet prototype (a special one-off project and one of the oldest Porsche 911s still in existence).
Lee Sibley, editor of Total 911 magazine, said: “As the world’s only publication dedicated to the Porsche 911, the magazine is perfectly placed to offer its readers insight into all aspects of the Porsche industry and, where it is deserved, offer reward for excellence. The Awards evening itself will be a truly fantastic occasion for those in attendance and I would like to thank Hexagon Modern Classics in advance for giving our event such a fantastic home and being such a strong supporter of the magazine. The Hexagon name is synonymous with expert knowledge and first-class service when it comes to Porsche models, particularly 911s – facts that will be evidenced by the mouth-watering stock on display for our guests.”
Paul Michaels, chairman of Hexagon Modern Classics, said: “It’s fantastic to host Total 911 magazine’s first-ever awards ceremony and to welcome Porsche enthusiasts to our north London home for what looks set to be a fun evening. At Hexagon Modern Classics, we are big fans of the magazine, and you only have to look at the quality of the special guest to see how well the magazine is regarded.
