Motorsport PR – In Motorsport PR news, the recently crowned triple BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) champion Gordon Shedden is set to celebrate his landmark 2016 Championship win with the legion of motorsport fans at Autosport International at the NEC in Birmingham between 12-15* January 2017.

In what proved to be one of the most entertaining and closely fought seasons in living memory, the Scottish driver overcame a points deficit to BMW’s Sam Tordoff in the latter half of the 2016 BTCC season before clinching his third championship title in the last race of the season at Brands Hatch. In doing so, Shedden not only became a three-time champion, but he also became the first man to successfully defend his crown since Fabrizio Giovanardi in 2008.

Joining the Halfords Yuasa Honda racer at the show, will be fellow BTCC drivers Matt Neal, Colin Turkington and Andrew Jordan. Between them, the four drivers have amassed nine BTCC championships and fans attending Autosport International will have the chance to hear first-hand accounts from the drivers about the season just past…and their predictions for 2017.
