A major new feature of this year’s Classic & Sports Car Show has been announced – renowned auction house Coys will be putting a host of iconic classics under the hammer when The Show returns to the majestic and iconic venue of Alexandra Palace from Friday 28th October to Sunday 30th October.

Organised by the world’s best-selling classic car magazine, Classic & Sports Car, and Haymarket Exhibitions, The Show has some unique innovations planned for the auction, which are sure to make it a highly anticipated feature of the event. These developments will be announced in the coming weeks.

We are now delighted to be able to offer an extra element to that already vibrant event.”

We’re looking forward to not only seeing some iconic classics go under the hammer, but also to working with Coys to do so in a bold and different way.”

The classic car auction is not the only addition to the 2016 show, with a wider range of ticket options also confirmed.In addition to a limited earlybird offer of general admission tickets priced at £20 for adults (£26 on the door) and free for children under 12 years old, a selection of premium tickets will be available.

The Gold package, priced at £50 per person, will include fast track preview entry from 9am, a Show Programme and a glass of fizz in addition to the general admission and Routemaster shuttle bus transfer. These ticket holders will also receive relaxed seating in the dedicated Gold Lounge and a reservation service at the fine dining à la carte restaurant.

Including everything in the Gold package, Platinum tickets (priced at £100 per person and limited to just 150 entrants) will also receive a continental breakfast and lunch buffet in the exclusive Platinum Lounge, with a selection of hot and cold drinks. In addition, Platinum visitors will be treated to a tour of The Show with a member of the Classic & Sports Car magazine team, a three-month Haymarket digital subscription, a signed poster and a copy of The Daily Telegraph with limited edition show bag.

Premium packages are available to over 18s only. Family tickets for four (adults or children over 12 years old) will also be available for £69 in advance, plus £2 booking fee, or £72 on the door.

This new pricing structure will enable classic car enthusiasts to find the perfect package for them and really get the most out of The Show, which is set to be even bigger and better this year.”

Last year’s event was full to the rafters with amazing features. Visitors were treated to a ten-car display featuring The British Car Ever – as voted for by the public in a global poll – and a tribute to Aston Martin and Sir Stirling Moss’s single seaters. They also got to see a host of motoring royalty on the Interview Stage – guests included Norman Dewis OBE and Ross Brawn OBE – not to mention stands featuring the world’s greatest classic car dealers.

The Classic & Sports Car Show in 2016 will feature more than 300 of the world’s most prestigious classic cars from world-famous collectors and world-renowned classic car retailers. Full details of The Show’s content will be revealed over the coming months.
