The Concours of Elegance 2015, held at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh from the 4th to 6th of September, is delighted to confirm free parking to pre-1976 cars on a pre-registered basis.  Entries are encouraged now, as spaces are limited to 120 per day on Saturday and Sunday, the 5th and 6th of September.

Registration is available by visiting www.ConcoursofElegance.co.uk/BuyTickets and is open to new entries and those who already have tickets to the Concours of Elegance, but who may not have registered a car.

An additional attraction of the Pre-’76 Owners Area for 2015 is the introduction of the new Stewards’ Trophy, which will be awarded on both the Saturday and the Sunday.  The Concours of Elegance’s formidable team of experienced stewards, many of whom are classic car collectors and aficionados themselves, led by Chief Steward Bertie Gilbart-Smith, will judge the gathered pre-1976 cars during the course of both Saturday and Sunday, awarding their choice with a special prize presentation each afternoon.

The Concours of Elegance itself, held in the grounds of the Palace of Holyroodhouse attracts 60 of the rarest and most exotic cars from all over the world – 60 being a reference to the diamond jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen’s reign, which saw the event established at Windsor Castle in 2012.  These 60 are supported by many more cars from the show’s partner manufacturers Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren; and by collectors and clubs from across Europe.

Additional features of the spectacular motoring festival will include the world’s largest collection of Ecurie Ecosse racing cars, a special tribute to Sir Jackie Stewart, and a Scottish Legends display including cars from Jim Clark, Johnny Dumfries and Dario Franchitti.
