Want2race, the UK’s leading track day and premium driving experience company, announced a move to state-of-the-art new facilities near Leeds from July 1st, driven by the company’s continued expansion and growth. W2R’s new home on the LNT Group campus not only accommodates the company’s success and continued expansion, but also provides customers with a range of new services that mark out W2R as a market-leading innovator for track day enthusiasts and competition car owners.

The move to new facilities has been driven by the growth in the provision of premium track day car storage, transport services and servicing for all marques of track cars including Caterham, Lotus, Porsche, BMW and Ginetta.  The management of client cars’ will be located at the LNT Group headquarters, in the heart of Ginetta’s world championship motorsport and automotive operations, with the nearby Blyton Park Circuit offering customer access to the high-speed, fast-flowing 2.1km testing facility.

Customers will benefit from direct access to a one-stop shop, FIA championship-standard workshops with engine and transmission facilities, fabrication and a full vehicle dynamics set-up under one roof.

In addition to expanding the options for client track day car preparation, the new facilities also provide Want2race customers with services not available from any other track day operator.  While-you-wait race car servicing is now supplemented with access to the on-site SIMTrack simulator at Garforth, allowing customers to benefit from premium sim training facilities as well as witness WEC LMP1 and Akula supercar development, transforming routine car servicing into a fully immersive experience for their owners.

The new home, with capacity for more than 70 customer road, track or race cars, will also open up an extended range of track venues across Europe for owners and corporate events by virtue of access to a fleet of covered race transporters. This will significantly expand W2R’s range of driving experiences, premium track days and membership schemes with immersive driving experiences in even more locations.

This is a hugely exciting step for Want2race. Driven by the growth and success of our business, the move to our new HQ and Blyton Park is a win-win for our customers, giving them access to industry-leading vehicle preparation, more track time and access to the simulator used by world championship drivers while their car is being serviced,” said Ben Hyland, W2R Director. “At the same time, we will be expanding our transport fleet which will enable our members and customers to experience some of the greatest circuits and have the most exhilarating and immersive driving experiences that are possible in their cars.

Want2race is the only company in the industry able to prepare, store and provide a track & driver training service for our customers.  We believe their every need is provided for and this exciting development and expansion further strengthens and enhances the services we provide for our customers,” he added.
