Low Mileage Ferrari On Sale H.R. Owen

Automotive PR – In automotive PR news, leading luxury dealer group H.R. Owen has listed a stunning, low-mileage example of the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale for sale at its Ferrari London dealership.

It’s finished in striking Rosso Scuderia paintwork with a Nero alcantara interior and has just 26,500 miles on the clock. Registered in 2004, the one-owner model is one of only 116 that was imported to the UK – making it a rare proposition.

The Challenge Stradale was the first race-inspired Ferrari since the legendary F40 and F50. Based on the 360 Modena, the CS specification added 20bhp over the standard 360, producing 420bhp from its naturally aspirated, flat plane crank V8.

While the power increase is modest, the Challenge Stradale received significant upgrades – including race-inspired suspension, unique alloy wheels, carbon fibre brakes, free-flow air filters and a less restrictive (and great-sounding) exhaust. The gearbox is an F1 automated manual with titanium shift paddles, as well as Modena carbon fibre seats.

In all, the CS model weighed in at 110kg less than the standard car. As much as 74kg was lost by removal of interior sound deadening, adding carbon fibre mirrors and lightening the standard bumpers. Further weight reduction was offered with optional plexiglass windows and radio delete.

It’s no slouch on the road, either; the 360 CS completes 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 176mph. Its Fiorano lap time was 3.5 seconds a lap faster than the standard 360 Modena.
